Does anybody know if this is okay..?!

Question: I'm 16 years old and have ADD. I'm taking ritalin. I want to try whiskey and rum (not on the same day and only a sip). On the information page for my medication it said something like do not take with alcohol. Does that mean not to swallow the pill with alcohol or not to drink it at all? My doctor said not to take any medication that has alcohol in it. Would it be okay for me to try it?

NO! Do not take with alcohol means exactly what it says. Why the rush to drink anyway, don't you have enough to deal with. Concentrate on working towards getting well not getting intoxicated. Why don't you ask your doctor? You should. I think you already know the answer.

I'd talk to your doctor first before taking the alcohol. Plus, I don't think you'd want to trust a bunch of strangers from the internet to make that decision for you.

talk to your doctor about it, and when you ask, make sure you tell him that you dont care how old you are you just want to try it lol
