Co workers hygine problems?!

Question: does any one you work beside have one??????????????:-(

Answers: does any one you work beside have one??????????????:-(

Not now, but last year I used to work in the upstairs office and there's a director who works in the corner, he's quite big and has bad BO! In the summer he would sit facing the corner with his arms on top of his head with a desk fan blowing the smell behind him - straight at me, eugh!

Oh, just remembered, there's another director, he has hideous halitosis, he was in the conference room with 2 clients the other day with the door shut, he'd been gone half hour when I went in with another colleague, we had to open all the windows and put the fan on to remove the smell of his breath!

no but they did in my old job... i actually had to get moved desk it was unbearable

My bosses breath is rancid.

i do... he seems to smell of mouldy soil if thats possible! lol

I had to deal with this problem as an office supervisor ,with a member of staff who needed to be made 'hygienically aware'.
It was not one of my most pleasant tasks but I did it .
Straight to the point, in private, Kindly but firm and then I let the person go home early.

I couldn't let them stay in the office feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. I think that is the best way to do it.

This problem should not exist, but it does, no need for it to be tolerated though.

here is a good idea.

Go buy a cheep Cologne or perfume type a note with there name on it saying "you stink" and put the cologne with the note and leave it where the person works.

Years ago I worked in a supermarket, and there was this one guy who absolutely stank of BO all the time. It was really, seriously awful. One day it was so bad I had to take him to one side and tell him as politely as I could that he smelled rather pungent and that people, including customers, were mentioning it. He started washing more and using deoderant for a while, but went back to his old ways after a few weeks. I think he left after that.

The strange thing is that he was a young, slim, not bad-looking guy, not the sort of person you would think would neglect his personal hygiene. Also, I can't understand why management never did anything about it, and I had to talk to him myself. He worked on the checkouts for gods sake!
