Colds do not turn into the flu, the flu is completely different.
As for the tightness in your chest with coughing, it's a symptom of a cold or bronchitis. See a doctor just to make sure your breathing alright and take some antihistamines.

Call the doctor asap!

you should have it checked out...my uncle had chest pain and he was having the flu at the same time too...ended up having something to do with a stroke...

congestion!!! probably high blood pressure.

Could be bronchitis or pneumonia. Go to a doctor.

All the symptoms of a heart=attach

asthma coming from your cold or allergies.
or just phlegm from your cold.

Bronchitis, it is an inflation of the lungs and chest. It is usually a viral infection and possibly isn't the flu. Does it hurt when u breathe? Hope u get better :)

its just tight from being congested. take cough medicine and drink lots of fluids. if you hold a hot waterbottle on your chest it will help loosen up your chest and you can cough some stuff up to make it better!

pneumonia maybe, I'm sorry

could be any number of things, none of them good. get to the DR ASAP

Let off the pipe

You already know what's wrong....but you do need to see a Doctor. When it gets to your chest, it can go into pneumonia. Make an appointment and get it checked out! kjl

upper or lower respiratory tract infection. If you have a long history of smoking get yourself to a doctor asap. If you want to nip it in the bud take some expectorant and drink lots of fluids.

You ate something really hot or bad for you which gave you heartburn. If its not temporally go to the doctor.
