Mixing drugs?!

Question: If anyone's done this, please let me know. What are the possible effects of taking heavy opiate-derived painkillers (such as Ultram), then smoking marijuana? I know alchohol increases the effects of many painkillers, but would weed increase the effects as well? Please don't report; this is all hypothetical. I'm not encouraging illegal drug use.

Ultram is not an opiate nor is it derived from opiates. It binds with the same neuronal sites in the brain that opiates do; this fools the brain into thinking that it has been dosed with an opiate. Ultram does not have any of the effects of opiates. You are wise to be cautious about mixing drugs, but this would be a safe combination (except, of course, you still shouldn't drive or operated heavy machinery).
