When to decide on a hearing aid?!
Question: Please respond only if you have a hearing aid or have some hearing loss.
I just completed a physical and the news on my hearing is that it is getting worse. I do have to ask people to repeat what they said to a certain extent but I can't lose the feeling that they are just talking too low. Do you have that feeling? I went to a company and hearing aids will cost me about $4,000 + and that is after a contribution by my carrier. I can hear fine within a certain frequency range - I think.

I failed a driving test because he said he was talking to me almost the whole trip and I never heard him.I could not get my license until I got the hearing aids.Like yourself I did not think my hearing was that bad.Looking back it was very bad and getting the hearing aids is one of the best things I ever did.
