How do I unclog both of my ears?!

Question: Sunday I was in a hurry and was cleaning my ears with Q-tips. I accidentally pushed some wax back in and now my hearing is cut by a large degree. This is really annoying I can't hear well now. Anything I can do to unclog my ears? Is there an ear rinse I can buy at the store? Thanks to all that answer.

When I had this problem I used something called Cerumol (contains peanut oil so it's no good for those allergic to it) to clear my right ear which was blocked by wax.

It's a liquid and one puts about 5 drops in the affected ear with the head tilted 3 times per day and it usually works after 3 or 4 days of such treatment. After putting it in, it is good to gently plug the ear with a small piece of cotton to ensure it stays in.

If ears are still blocked after 4 or 5 days of treatment then you need to get someone to clean it through irrigation with water. At least Cerumol will make wax removal easier.

If Cerumol doesn't exist in your country there must be something similar that does the same job.

NOTE: The above assumes that the ears are not infected, just blocked.

Peroxide or get it flushed out at the doctors.

Call a health care provider, like an urgent care center. Ask them for advice. It may take a pro if it is badly clogged.

Pharmacies offer ear solutions that you can get to remove it. CVS, RITE AID, even at grocery stores you'll find something. But I'd recommend that you don't stick anything else down your ears. A q-tip is suppose to clean the outer surface of your ears, your really not suppose to actually stick it in--you are simply trying to remove the sight of wax from around the ear. Now you see what happens when you stick it all the way in....tisk tisk.

There are various ear products that you can buy from a pharmacy. I put waxol in mine for a couple of days and then used 'ear candles' which I also got from the pharmacy to suck the wax out. I can hear much beter now.

i had exackly da same prob i rang up da local hospital with it being weekend and da docs shut, dey jus said it will come out its self so all weekend my ear was blocked up and it was sending me dizzy, i went to da docs on da monday he shouted at me for using ear buds as they say dey r dangerouse and told me to move my gaw around are hold my nose and blow and after aweek of dis it jus popped...lol, give it a try u never no it mite work 4 u 2...

Don't mess around with home remedies. Go to your doctor. You might easily make the problem worse by attempting to clear it yourself.
