Nightmares almost every night?!

Question: I have been having tons of nightmares almost every night or at least a few times a week...This has been going on for weeks now. I'm thinking its because of stress. Is there any other reason why this could be happening? I'm almost 25 years old.

well wat i think u should do is watch something funny before u go 2 sleep. mabey do some yoga 2 get the stress off. i really think u should take at least and hour or 2 to urself 2 just relax. stay away from too much chocalate. or if u say that one prayer... "now i lay me down 2 sleep, i praise the lord my soul to keep, your love be with me through the night, and wake me with the morning light, amen." say that before u go 2 sleep and if that works that just keep doing that. if it doesnt, cover ur cover up so its covering ur butt. people get dreams wen theyre but is uncovered so mabey if u cover ur butt....

Sometimes people experience frequent night terrors. You should consider going to your physician. There are medications, such as diazepam (Valium) that can help reduce your night terrors.

It can also have something to do with it if you are too hot so leave electric blanket of and turn down room heating.

Stress has a LOT to do with night terrors. Also certain drugs cause night terrors. And stress of thinking of having nightmares as you are going to bed causes them. Room temperature is whatever is comfortable to you. How ever a room that is too hot or to cold causes sleep disturbances. Also, try this. As the evening draws to a close, watch no tv, light a candle, take a warm bath, close your eyes, absorb your surroundings and relax. . Also eliminate caffeine and smoking. Then go straight to bed. Also another note. If you are going to bed exhausted (going to bed too late and getting up to early repeatedly) this too may cause terros.
