I always hear this ringing in my ears?!

Question: Every once in a while my head starts to hurt and in a minute or two, I can't hear anything, then I high pitched ringing starts and ends in a few seconds. I sorta feels like going deaf.

What is it? My friend said that it is dead hair?

this could possibly be tinnitus.or you live near a church.seriously see gp if conditions continue/worsen never heard of dead hair
