Where can I get a medic alert bracelet on line without having to pay a membershi!
Question: I looked on the medic alert web site and they want almost $40.00 to join plus cost of bracelet. I want to either buy it on line without having to join or pay membership. Or even fill out the paper work like they used to have at my WalMart pharmacy. Any ideas how to do this or where I can get the paperwork?

You can get medical dog tags! They are red and have a Medical star thingy on the front, and all of your info on the back, they aren't a membership thing, just a one time purchase of less then ten bucks...
If you want it registed with medic alert, then you have to pay the fee. There's no way around it.
But, you can go to any pharmacy and buy a bracelet. They have some already engraved with the allergy on it. If you need to add more info to it, you can get it added. Or, you can buy a bracelet that has no engraving on the back and get it engraved for your condition.
You can also go to a jewelers and buy a nice medic alert bracelet there. Just let them know what you need engraved on the back and they can do it for you.
I never got any of my bracelets registered. Having it on for the paramedics to see is enough.
