Question: i can't handle chilled meat or prepare meals without my fingers feeling like they will drop off. Why does it hurt so much to touch anything cold? my husband thinks i'm mad!

You could have Raynauds a condition which causes severe pain in the extremities when exposed to temperature change.

were you frost bitten when younger? If so, that can cause permanent nerve damage which will cause your symptoms
Do you have poor circulation to your fingers and hands?
Well cold is persive as pain when u touch cold the cold sensation is absorbed into your skin and its absorbded to ur finger vein too soo the vein will be alarmed cuz a vein is a hot process
sensitivity to cold objects isnt too uncommon.
