Question: i have a head cold right now... i can breathe out of my nose about 80% fine, but for some reason my sense of taste is completely gone???
wouldn't you think because i can breathe out of my nose i can smell and taste? but i can't ... i have a glass of wine and it tastes and smell's like water, and i have some leftover ) garlicky) pasta and no matter how hard i try to smell it it smells like nothing..
why??

Because your nose is 20% not fine. You may also have some post nasal drip.
probably because you are sick you have a loss of appetite
