Supraclavicular lymph nodes???? PLEASE!?!
Question: first: i have palable nodes in my neck and groin but my doctor said im normal and its just becuase im thin. (i am 13) they are not swollen. then i started feeling around for more palpable nodes and on my right supraclavicular area i can feel 2 lmyph nodes but they are small. about 0.5 mm. on the internet it says that that area of nodes should not be palpable. on one web site it says that if they are then they should be .5 mm or under.
what should they feel like?
could i have lymphoma?
is it swollen???
bye the way they havent grown over the time period i have noticed them. neither have th ones in my neck or groin.
please help!!!
also is there a disease that makes ur lymph nodes palbable other than cancer???

my son has these same swollen lymphnodes. they kind of freak me out a little too. he has them in the same places...groin, base of skull, back of neck, etc. he too is on the small side. my pediatrician tells me not to worry that it is a sign of the body doing its job, to think of them as little filters and when they are full they are just working over time. don't worry yourself, you'll be ok and waiting 1 month is no time, your appt. will be here before you know it. good luck
