Stomach problems!? Help please?!


Question: Well, first off Im lactose intollerant so any dairy gives me diarrhea. But for some reason, almost everything I eat gives me either a stohacm ache or diarrhea. Every morning I have to take pepto-bismol to last me through the day. I have no clue whats wrong with me, im always missing out on things because of my stomach problems. I dont really eat healthy or anything, no salads, but I do eat fruits in school. I love milk more than any drink, so I still drink it on the weekends and when im at home. I can understand the lactose part, but why does lots of other things hurt my stomach? I cant concentrate or anything, please can I have some help? Any idea on whats wrong?

I vote with others for IBS. People with IBS usually cannot eat anything with MSG in it, and it is in most prepared, canned, frozen & restaurant foods.

I've had IBS since teen years, cannot eat out or have to rush home! It is annoying & dr. can give you some meds to help.

go to your doctor... you could have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) or an ulcer.

well just like your lactose intolerant there is a problem with you and the fruits, it could be the high sugar capolartes that fruits have in themm.

I suggest you get some vitamins that give you the fruit nutrients you need. I assure you that you won't get a stomach ache!! :):)

you could possibly have I.B.S. irritable bowel syndrome...thats what i have and i have to watch everything i eat.. you basically have to take a mental note of what to eat cause this affects everyone differently...this affects a lot of people

well maybe your eating to fast try to eat healthy and slowly and chew your food thoroughly if you get a stomach ache after eating try sucking on mints.

If you're lactose intolerant, drinking milk definitely doesn't help, it can still affect you even hours later. You should see a doctor though because on top of that, you might have some other stomach issues going. Like maybe a form of reflux.

You need to get lactose free milk from a major supermarket.

Besides that you need to eat plenty of vegetables as they contain enzymes that help your digestion. Fruit certainly helps but anyone who refuses to eat vegetables has found the perfect recipe for a lot of ill health.
