Pins and needles in my feet?!

Question: I've noticed recently I've been getting pins and needles in my feet for about 20 mins at a time. They are really strong too. My toes are also a light purpley colour when it happends. What is it? What causes it? I'm on a diet and havent eaten anything for 1 week 2 days if that has any relevance? I'm 16 btw. How can I stop them? If I walk it increases them.

It's probably the way you're laying on your legs. Cuts off circulation. Walk around if it happens again. It'll hurt and that tingly sensation will get worse, but it'll go away faster.

oh yeah. eating something might help too. o_O...unless dying is part of your diet?

holy **** dude EAT. You will die if you don't eat. That probably does have some relevance. Seek medical attention asap.

Could be a bad circulation problem or high blood pressure.

may b eat or amputate!!

you need to eat something. your body needs nourishment to continue functioning. blood has stopped correctly circulating to your feet and that is where the puns and needles are coming from. your diet is called anorexia.

EAT. eating is MUCH healthier than not at all.
you loose more weight when you eat healthy and do exercise than when you eat nothing at all.

wear socks.

it may be called neuropethay or it could be tendinitis. you would need to see a doctor to find out what is really wrong.

Im thinking its just blood flow, and has nothing to do with what you eat. Sometimes if you sit with your legs at an angle for too long, one or too blood veins/arteries gets clinched.. if you just extend your leg and/or ankle for easier blood flow it should work. At least for me it does. Good luck.

Not eating anything isn't a diet, it's anorexia. Maybe you should be more concerned about that.

If you haven't eaten in 9 days you have more problems than pins and needles ! Although there are diseases that cause these symptoms like diabetes and MS I myself suffer from MS and in the beginning I suffered those symptoms I would suggest to you to start a healthy diet and seeing a doctor
