What do you do when you've hit rockbottom at 17?!

Question: just hope it gets better?

There's nowhere to go but up...not unless you kill yourself then you're actually 6 ft. under but don't do that you're still young. Seriously though wreak as much havoc as possible blame it on youth then get some sort of epiphany and get your fighting spirit. Then wreak havoc once again when you're 35 and just say its a mid-life crisis. But all in all life up or in a shithole is very eventful so stick it out buddy! Get the hell out of town! That's what I did. Whoever says your teenage years is the time of your life has completely forgotten what it was like.

no problem...taking a step back always helps, i found a sense of humor about life helps a lot and i hope everything gets better :D Report It

  • You graduate high school and get the hell out of
town. Things will get better for sure.

yeah. the good thing about rock bottom is you can always look up. and honestly, I've found that God has helped me through some really tough stuff that I thought I couldn't handle. email or message me if you need anything... I'll pray for you!!! :) I know how rock bottom feels.

I hit an emotional bottom around 18. I thought it couldn't get any worse. Things got better when I moved out of my mom's house the next year. I bottomed out even worse at 23 then 'the big one' came at 28. I finally got on antidepressants, anti-psychotic and anti-anxiety meds plus I see a therapist now. I'm much better. The point is, it can always be worse so do everything you can NOW to prevent future meltdowns. I know this isn't a very positive answer but things do eventually get better someday.

I GUESS IT WOULD BE ROCKBOTTOM IF YOU GOT A CHICK PREGNANT WHEN YOU WERE 17

To help I need a lil more information on like what has happen that you consider you hit rock bottom.

You pick yourself up, and get movin again, because life is to short to worry, get out of high school, and go to college, and make a career for yourself,, good luck

Give it some time. It will get better.
