because for some reason people in the nursing profession consist mostly of bitches- have you ever heard of the saying "the nurse eat their young"? I was accpeted into a university four year nursing program and lasted for 2 semesters due to not liking the enviornment and etc.. but yes for some reason I too noticed many instructors in this particular field are evil; however there are a few good ones. Its quite the oxymoron to be going into such a helping profession and not have a helping professor...good luck to you though as people who go into this field to truly help people should be admired :)

You need to ask someone neutral - maybe another instructor you have a good relationship with, or whoever is in charge of your instructor. Explain your situation, from your point of view, but be calm and try not to make accusations - if you're emotional, they'll find it hard to pay much attention to what you say. Of course your friends will agree with you - that's why you get on - they back you up and give you sympathy - that's what friends are for.

Maybe it's your attitude - perhaps because you've had bad experiences in the past with these instructors, you automatically assume that they are going to be 'bitchy' to you, so you get defensive and spiky and they react to that. Criticism of your work isn't being bitchy - if your work has room for improvement, it's necessary - otherwise, how are you ever going to improve? Have you tried asking (in a non-agressive, non-emotional, non-accusatory way) this instructor about why she asked you to re-do your work?

Basically - find someone who you get on with, but who isn't your friend, who can talk to you AND the instructor and give you a fresh point of view so that you can get to the bottom of this.
