Clarifying my absence?!
Question: I started showing signs of the flu wednsday morning, and it did not get better today, and I won't be able to attend school tomorrow either. My dad will write me a slip with my doctor's note to clear my absence, but the problem is that I can only go to the school attendence office on Monday morning. Would it be too late?

I don't think so. As You can not go to school because you are ill and therefore you can not even go to school to give your sick note.
You can give it to your friend who may come around your house to collect it before they go to school or just ask them to inform your teacher that your are ill therefor will not be coming in, and she will bring her doctors note upon her return.

Phone the absense office to explain today, that will help. Then on Monday take the letter from your Dad into school and give it to them. They will need to know so phone.
