I would say some do. I have a friend that does a lot and I know that I do sometimes.
I'm 34... and if I feel its cold you'll find me completely covered when I sleep, that includes my face. Usually its because my nose gets too cold and I cover my face to try to get feeling back! LOL
I don't sleep with my face covered but my feet always have to be.

My husband likes a gail at night, and I really like it cool, too. But when the air is really moving, I cover up my face so my nose won't get so dried out inside. When a kid in Kansas, the hot air did the same thing to me as the heater seemed to blow strait up my nose. I guess I have always had to cover my face from time to time.
