Other than a Vasectomy......?!

Question: I "Heard" there was a shot that the female or male has to take twice a year so the Male can be sterilized or So the female can't really develop her eggs. Is this true?

I looked up the Procedure for a Vasectomy online:
http://www.urologychannel.com/vasectomy/...

Umm...not saying I'm afraid but I just feel VERY uncomfortable someone cutting me down there........

Any Help will do....:-)

When the hormone progestin is introduced into the mans body, it stops the production of sperm temporarily. It also has a side effect of stopping testosterone production. Low testosterone leads to low sex drive, insomnia, depression, muscle cramps, and all kinds of nasty things. Men that use progestin must also take testosterone pills, and sometimes anti-depressants. The side effects of testosterone pills are stomach aches, hypertension, and mood swings.

As you can see this sort of thing is very new and likely not yet on the market in the USA. I don't see that happening for another 10 years. If you want it now, I think they are still doing clinical trails at UCLA (where I went to college).

Also keep in mind that you have to keep going back every three months. The cost adds up.

A vasectomy, while permanent, has no side effects. It is cheap, and only has to be done once.

Man up, and get the vasectomy. It won't hurt you.

Hey Bro...

You know more than me... I thought that the shot was only for women.

I'm going to that link right now to do some reading... Thanks for the tip!

Nobody likes getting cut anywhere. Down there seems to carry a special place in the fears of men. But it shouldn't.

The vasectomy procedure has been around for about 100 years. It is well known, and done all over the world.

Those shots are very new. I have no doubt that they will eventually be linked to cancer just like BC pills are. Keep in mind that the shots are made by some high-profit drug company. The company executives will take their money and run long before the side effects are discovered.

Nobody holds the patent on a vasectomy. Any doctor can do it. No one group is profiting on it. Nobody has a vested interest in misleading you. Can you say the same for any product of a drug company?

I had my vasectomy 20 years ago. Millions more men have had them since. It hurts less than getting a tattoo. There are no side effects, and no scars. It was the best thing I ever did.

The whole thing was done in 15 min. I was back to work in two days, and 100% in a week. I never had to deal with it again, and never will for the rest of my life. Over the last 20 years I have had plenty of sex (I am single, with no children).

Before you sluff off what I am telling you, ask a few of your friends that are paying chuild support until it hurts. What is more painful? I would rather have 10 vasectomies than make an unwanted baby.
