Medical Diagnosis...?!

Question: I went to the ER and my diagnosis is somatic dysfunction of the cervical, thoratic, and lumbar spine... What does this mean?

Answers: I went to the ER and my diagnosis is somatic dysfunction of the cervical, thoratic, and lumbar spine... What does this mean?

According to Wiki, it's "the impaired or altered function of the musculo-skeletal system"... meaning apparently your spine doesn't work properly (problems with the nerves and/or connections). You can find out more information at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somatic_dys...

....Or you could call the hospital and ask for a better description in layman's terms.

You can always ask your doctor to explain or you can go to WebMD and look it up and find the answers there. So you can ask infored questions when you do go to the doctor.
Good Luck.
