inhaling steam will help clear you out a bit. always helps me
plus it will unlock your pores and will be like having a facial b4 ur party 2night.
otherwise have lots to drink and you'll forget how awful u feel lol
xx
No.
Have you got any strepsils
usually clear my throat up for a while atleast.
No point in going and being a drag on everyone else. Yu won't enjoy it either. Stay home, drink plenty of fluid and sleeeeeeep!
Try a nasal spray,ask a pharmacist.
As a sufferer of chronic sinus problems, I can offer a few medication free options. First, put a large pot of water on the stove, get it boiling hot, then turn down the heat so it is simmering but not at a boil. Drape a towel over the back of your head, then lean over the water and deeply inhale the steam. This loosens the congestion and helps you breathe.
Second option: Take a wet wash cloth, microwave it until steaming hot, and CAREFULLY put it over your face. I find this more effective than the steaming water, but you risk irritating your skin.
Third, get a bottle of saline nasal spray, not Afrin. Squirt the spray into your nose, inhale, then try to blow your nose, gently. Repeat this until you get the congestion moving.
I'm a pill-popper, and find Pseudophedrine to be the best relief, but it can cause some folks to become jittery and feel dehydrated.
Good luck!
How can not going to a party be not an option?
If you have a bad cold then stay at home and get better.
Don't pass your germs around.
