A Subsitute For Rubbing Alchohal? (Sterlize a Needle)?!
Question: Im Plannin to Re-peirce my Ear and i dont have Any Rubbing Alchohal. I Do Hav ea Lighter But it says I need to Use Rubbing Alchohal On The Needle...Anything I can Subsitute it with?

Hold the needle with a pair of tweezers (it will burn your fingers if you don't) and sterilize by burning the pointy end untill it glows red. Give it time to cool off before touching your ears. This is the only method we used in the olden days before ear piercing machines came along.
Well all of the things you mentioned does not sterilize a needle properly.
You need an autoclave machine which are about $200.
But since you dont have one, you can use alcohol or peroxide to help a little bit.
There aren't any substitutes for them.
peroxide.boil water .
peroxide will not sterilize. Vodka will.
You should not do this. you know where to get a nice silver needle, and I suspect you have a few piercings. ask the guy who usually does your piercings, you should just payt eh 20 bucks to get them to redo it and use a starter post, gold or silver. do it yourself, you are going to screw it up. if you did it yourself in the first time suggest you pick up the local alternative newspaper and find someone who knows what they are doing.
