Please help! i need more than just a few opinions!!?!

Question: i am a teen, and for the past, like, week or so, idk but ive been getting really thirsty. ive been drinking tons of water. it almost seems like no matter how much water i drink, it never quenches my thirst. and also, ive been getting hungrier (not a lot, but enough to notice it). and ive been having to go to the restroom more (maybe thats just a result of how much water ive been drinking??? idk). oh yeah, and maybe this just has to do w/ my age, but ive been in a terrible mood. everyones been noticing it (i know that bc they r saying "u need to change ur attitude" and stuff like that) && like everythings irritating me. so, please, are all these things just normal for my age? or is there something medically wrong with me?

Sounds like you may have diabetes. Your sugar levels are not stable. When your sugar levels are low, you get grumpy or in a bad mood. For being thirsty and going to the restroom often, well....those are just signs. Diabetes is when your body cannot digest the sugar in your blood and you need insulin to control it. It depends, there are different types of diabetes for different kinds of treatment. (medication or insulin shots).

lol is it your time of the month? =P
sure sounds like it.

you're pregnant

You need to let your folks know that you need to see your doctor. This could be diabetes. In fact it could be a number of things but many of these symptoms are the same as diabetes. However, don't get a diagnosis by consensus, please, most of the people that respond don't have a license to practice medicine. You really need to take this to a professional. Good luck to you, dear.

Sounds normal.
Try getting 8-9 hours of sleep.
Your growth spurts might just be making you hungrier. Are you gaining weight?
If it lasts for a month, I suggest you go for blood tests at your MD to test your blood sugar. Don't eat or drink past midnight, night before your blood test.

Do you exercise a lot?
Does anyone in your family have diabetes?
Do you live in warm climate?

If you add details...I'll be back & edit my answer:-)
