I think i broke my Little toe?!

Question: I slammed my little Pinky toe into the door last night. It is really hurting today. It looks swollen and if i move my foot a certain way i get pain. I can not bend my little toe either. It hurts so bad. Could it be broken? What can the doctor do if it is broken? If they can't do anything how long will it take to heal?

It sounds broken. You can go to the doctor and I think the most he will do is set it and make you keep it wrapped. It should only take a month tops to heal.

Doctors can't do a whole lot with broken toes. I've done the same thing many times....it hurts a few days or so, then is okay. I'd wear shoes though....it'll be kind of like wrapping it, which is all that would be done. They may wrap it to the next toe if broken.

There is not much that can be done other than taping it to the next toe. You shouldn't need to go to a dr. It will hurt for 3-4 weeks.

some times doctors might rap your toe and some times depending if you cant walk they will probbly put you on critches for the heailing it should take tow weeks but go to the doctors office

I did the exact same thing last summer. I went to the ER and the doctor put it in a splint. That's so it will go back in the correct position. I had to wear it for a couple weeks, but it was sore much longer than that. I know it really hurts.

it sounds broken.
becuase alot of times if u can wiggle a finger or toe then it is broken. (personal experice)
but they cant really do anything for a broken toe.
So your best bet is to get some medical tape and tape it to the toe next to it. But if the swelling doesnt go down i would go to a doctor.
