What is vertigo?!

Question: It is when your equilibrium is off center. Basically your center of gravity within your own body is off course. Usually feel it right after you get off of a roller coaster. You feel kinda dizzy and off balance. But if it lasts for like three or more days I would see a doctor. My sister-in-law went on a cruise, her first, and she had vertigo for almost a month.

i believe is when you're afraid of heights

Afraid of heights i think

It usually happens when you look down from a really high spot and get dizzy like your gonna fall or pass out. Some also get it without having to be high up. It can be a condtion or side effect.

It makes you dizzy....like if you have fluid in your ears...you would have vertigo, and be dizzy. An ear infection can do this to you.

Vertigo is when the body feels unbalanced, which can lead to dizziness and nausea. It would be most likely due to an inner ear problem concerning our cochlea, which helps to determine where we are in space (which means are we laying down or standing up). You would get the same sensation of vertigo if you were to stand in one place and spin around until you get dizzy.

Vertigo is dizzyness. There are many different types of vertigo. Its an imbalance in the inner ear. Sometimes it can be a one time thing where you just get up out of bed and the room spins, you could throw up. Or there are other types that can be treated with vestibular therapy. I have vertigo. I get dizzy moving my head, like cleaning vegetables on the counter and then reaching over to the garbage, then back to the counter, that motion makes me dizzy. It also affects my driving so I take meklazine, which is Bonine (over the counter medicine found next to dramamine), and that shuts off the signal from the ears to the brain, which affects balance. go to dizzy.com for more info.
