I have the same problem, except my face gets flushed even when I'm NOT embarassed or anything. It even happens with people I'm comfortable with. It sucks. If you find a good answer, let me know....

Its because youre blood pressure gets higher. there isint much you can do about it but try n keep calm. getting scared or nervous makes youre bloodpressure rise

My face turns red when I get embarrassed too and there isn't anything I can do to make it stop. I wish I could help cuz I have the same problem but I am pretty sure it is something u can't control, it is just the way ur body reacts to embarrassment.

happen's to me to i hate it i cant even talk about something without going red i just try to take a deep breath and put me head down

this happens to me, exactly as you are saying. I am also a nervous, anxious person and throughout my life in school, if the teacher called on me I would turn so red I could hardly see or think! It made me want to drop out of college. The blushing and social anxiety was really interfering with my day to day life, I told my doctor and then started to see a psychologist and the only thing that helped was taking an anti-anxiety medication called clonazepam...it stopped the blushing completely. I am pregnant right now and not taking it and I am back to blushing in many social situations. Good luck!
