Weird insect bite on my face with red line?!
Question: I fell asleep outside on my porch last night for a few minutes, and then woke up and came inside. I woke up this morning, with what appears to be an insect bug bite on my cheek, and it has a red line going upwards from it. It's kinda big and swollen, looks like a mosquito bite, but hurts instead of itches.
Does anyone know what it might be, or what I can do? I heard that if something has a red line sprouting from it, thats bad.

The red line normally means it's infected.If it's heading up wards that's defiantly not a good sign.The best thing you can do is go to the doctors and have him look at it..You might have to get some antibiotics.
That sounds like a spiderbite. That's really weird, I would call the emergency room and ask them about it to make sure you don't need antibotics.
As the other answer informed you it is possible to be a spider bite, perhaps you sound see a doctor as soon as possible. As the only legal answer the emergency room could give would be to go to the ER if you feel it needs attention, which sounds as if it is. take care and go to the ER or a walk in clinic.

You better get your azz to the hospital, could be blood poisoning..hurry up..go NOW.
You better be at the hospital at the time I post this answer. Being hooked up to IVs is not a fantastic pastime, and hospital food as a rule must taste like seasoned cardboard.

From what I understand, a red line could very well mean blood poisoning.
Go see a doctor.
I am sorry to hear that. First go to sites like webmd.com and try to see at least what that bite is and afterwards I would highly sugest going to the ER or a doctor.

Sounds like a spider bite to me ...... and a red steak usually means it has poisoned into your blood stream with will cause an infection ......... if it was a spider, there is usually two hole marks from their teeth ........ you should go to a clinic to get check out as soon as you can to be safe ....... = )
