Weed Psychoactive Effects?!

Question: I have a friend who smokes weed and he has just started doing this. After smoking a whole joint he doesn't get affected at all. I read in an official website that when first using cannabis, many people do not experience psychoactive effects (effects which affect the mind, mood or mental processes), but with repeated use they do. I wonder how many times he should repeat this until he gets the effects. Please try not to advice me to stop him from smoking. I am just asking this out of my own curiosity and it is totally out of my business to stop him cause he wont listen.

It only takes like 3 or 4 times getting high until your cannabinoid receptors utilize the active ingredients of marijuana effectively. He should make sure that he's smoking properly. You have to take deep hits. Holding the smoke in isn't really necessary - it supposedly doesn't intensify the high, but it does cause a lot more irritation to the lungs. He could also try different methods of smoking. The high you get off of a joint is quite different from a bong. Eating the cannabis by making cannabutter out of it will produce a high that is worlds apart from smoking it - stronger, slightly psychedelic, and longer lasting. Look up "how to make cannabutter" on google if you want to know the process for this.

it actually enhances the brain believe it or not

It's different with people. When I did it the first time, it affected me, but not some of my friends. Usually it starts to take affect the second time you do it.

Make sure he is inhaling properly. That is why some people do not get high the first time. Take deep inhales.

Well, if he keeps it up then he's bound to get some sort of psychoactive effects....

hes just smoking weak weed if hes just starting hes probably smoking shwagg which wont get most people high
