Why do i wake up with a headache almost every morning?!

Question: This has been going on for nearly 2 years.and Taking some tablets for a headache has become my routine.. Because If I don't take em,I suffer from a unbearable pain so I am forced to do that every time I wake up.

I never took alcoholic drink as I'm christian.and my blood pressure is sort of high (around 150-160)

Does my high blood pressure have something to do with a headache?

humm..

do you have feather pillows or a feather duvet. you could be alergic to it?

also try to drink a load of water befor you sleep. it could be that you get dehidrated over the night.

I was gonna ask this kinda question too, but my eyes are poo, so i think my answer would be go to the opticians? good luck Hun, oh yeah ease off the coffee, that may help?

See a doctor .. sounds horrid !

it could well be your high blood pressure so get a GP to sheck that out but it could also be due to dehydration- especially if your pee is dark in the morning! I get terrible headaches if i don't drink enough liquids

Try drinking water in the evening and before you go to bed - even if it makes you wake up and go to the loo its better then having a headache

yes it may do.......or it may be a sinus problem ...i suffer with this too and as yet i have hardly gone a day without having to take pain killers

I had this for a long time and I found that My pillow was a fraction to high. I was using two but now use one . No more headaches.

Yes, high blood pressure can cause headaches. Ironically, so can taking painkillers routinely. I would go and see your doctor if I were you as there are so many different reasons for chronic headaches including allergies, hot bedrooms, vision problems, stress, lack of exercise, etc,etc,etc.....

you poor thing i know how you feel i get them every day thats migraine attacks these are nasty headaches i suggest you visit your doctor he/she will recommend a pill you can take to prevent getting heavy headaches.

Headaches are horrible you just can not get away from them once they start. It may be just possible that your head gets very cold during the night and this is what causes your headaches. If this is the case make sure you head and neck are covered at night. That may well be the cure. If that does not work you should see a doctor with a view to discussing the blood pressure pills that I think you will be on

do you sleep in a noisy area? this could be affecting your sleep....or do you have nightmares or anything else? if you dont get enough peaceful sleep then you will wake up with headaches....perhaps you are stressed? that would affect your head too.

just go to your local doctors they will tell you whats wrong and sort it out

Your blood pressure is definitely high and well maybe the cause of your headahes. You must get your blood pressure checked and if it stays higher than 140/90 then get treatment.

first of high blood pressure does not have any symptoms.headache or otherwise.secondly your blood pressure is to high and u should go and see a doctor to find out the reason y it is so as high blood pressrue is usualy caused by a combination, of bad diet and a lack of exercise but there may be other factors causing ur headaches.as for your headaches it may be stress related, not sleeping soundly,a sinus problem, inadequate ventilation in ur bedroom, a nutritional deficiency or even something as simple as ur pillows being to hard or soft and having an effect on your posture whilst you sleep.hope this helps and good luck.

There are lots of things that can cause headaches, so you really should go to the doctor to see if he can find any causes. You do need to get your blood pressure under control, as it could contribute to headaches and it is not healthy, anyway. Then get the books called: "Going Against the Grain", and "Heal Your Headache". My husband was waking up with a headache every morining. When he removed all wheat from his diet - no more headaches. (But wheat can be hidden in lots of foods you would not suspect, so you really have to be a detective. There are ingredients that are not actually called "wheat" that actually contain wheat, so read-up.)
