You probably need to have the bite checked out. Be sure to wash it thoroughly with soap and water. You would probably have it checked out with your doctor or ER. You may need a tetanus injection and they would be legally binded to report it to make certain the dog has its tags and there is no chance of Rabies. I'm sure you do not want your friend angry but it is your health at risk and hopefully she will understand. Do not put it off.
If you're worried about it or the bite went deep into your skin I would get it checked out ASAP.
If you really don't want to get your friend in trouble or have her possibly lose her dog tell them it was a stray. The worst they can do then is give you a tetanus shot.
I would definitely have it checked out if it's bothering you though, if for nothing else to give yourself peace of mind.
ask her if her dog a rabies shot if not go to doctor to get a heck just in case!
you need to report any animal bite.what if the dog bites an innocent child next and i'd be sure it's up to date on shots.
