Anti-histamine?!

Question: what is it? I know it's in benedryl.

Answers: what is it? I know it's in benedryl.

When you're allergic to something, it puts out histamines. these hormones cause you to show signs of allergies...swelling, sneezing, etc. the anti-histamine blocks this and stops the allergic reaction. so, if you're having an allegic reaction to a food, or to things in the air, you can take things like Benadryl to stop it.
