When in my op the doc made a hole in my womb by accident, i have been on two types of antibiotic could this be a contributiing factor. I WANT TO BE WELL - i am sooooooooooo fed up it had taken a year of me being in pain for them to do anything and now i am in more pain then ever. sorry to moan, can't help it.

Ouch - you poor thing. I know different women react to laparoscopy operations in different ways. I had one last year and it was uncomfortable for a few days and swollen for about three weeks, but slowly going down all the time. Are you having a follow up/check up with the Dr or surgeon? If you are still in pain, I think you should ring them. I didn't have the ovarian drilling so guess that would be worse than just the standard laparoscopy I had. Please ring your Dr and good luck, I hope it clears up soon and you start to feel better.
Sue him for malpractice. That procedure, though I never heard of it, sounds ridiculously painful.
This is normal, to have some pain after ( Laparoscopic Operation)due to the distension of the abdomen by carbon dioxide , also headache and back pain. this last es few hours to few days according to the patient tolerability and to duration of operation.
later every thing will be ok , if the pre operative cause was well diagnosed and managed .
