Achy neck....?!

Question: I've been plagued by an achy neck for about 5 years. I'm 32 years old in otherwise good health. My neck is always achy, sore, and uncomfortable to turn. Occasionally it will feel like I have whiplash. The whiplash feeling will last for about 3 days and then go away. But my neck is always achy. I've been to doctors and had a CAT scan done, but the results were negative. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i have had neck problems for years and everytime i went to dr's they could never find anything wrong but it was the muscles in my neck and now it has gone throughout my intire body it causes headaches and everything can't turn my head if im driving i have to turn my whole body to look i was then told i have fibromyagia it sucks hope its not what you have good luck

What about a chiropractor.

A Therapist would be very helpful, however your Doctor needs to give you a Prescription. Ask , whoever ordered the MRI just because it is negative, that still leaves you with the pain, and you need to do something about it, in order not to stay on Pain Medicine. The other option is the Chiropractor, some Insurances will cover Chiropractors. They can be very helpful.
