Great question btw. This is something i've thought a lot about.
I think i would like to die fighting something... like a bear or a shark. Or maybe in a grandiose knife fight in some sort of arena... something glorious and painful.
My biggest fear is dying without having time to realize that i'm about to go. I want it to be as obvious as possible without being super long and drawn out like disintegrating from chronic disease.
Without knowing I was going to die.
And painlessly.
Preternaturally.
I am not answering cause I want to die but of old age.That would be the best way for me.
I would rather be killed without knowing it.

Doing something important for another, whether it be a group or an individual. Would rather die saving a life but then again, everyone wants to be a hero right? It's also selfish because you want to be remembered as such. I admit that.
