Question: Blood from anus!?
I recently had surgery to remove an anal fistula (it's only been about 1 month since the operation)!. I was still experiencing pain and some bleeding and drainage for a week or so after, but then it stopped and all was good again for about 2 weeks or so!. I've noticed now that there is some bright red blood and drainage again!. I saw the specialist (who also performed the operation) first back in January and he ruled out cancer or anything like that, and said that it was just a fistula; and apparently the operation (performed by him and 1 or 2 other doctors) was complete success!.
I'm a bit freaked out now because I though everything was fine, but now it feels like I'm back to square one!. What's worse is that I can't contact the doctor because it's the weekend now!. I don't want to go through the entire weekend worrying about this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Then go to the ER, but likely it is a post-op complication!.!.!.!. Nearly all surgeons can be contacted 24 hours a day 7 days a week!.!.!.!. if you call his usual number you will likely get an answering service tell them what is going on and he will likely call you backWww@Answer-Health@Com
