Im not sure on ribs but if you have weak develoment or scolosis in back it will curve more, and it is connected to ribs!. Son had this condition and had surgury and always lays same way and has twisted look!. If back appears curved get Dr opinion!. *mamatxWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, I wouldn't think so!. More so when you are a baby, and favor one side, your head can be flat on the side you always lay on!. So important to always turn a baby often!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
