Why can't i fall asleep?!


Question: Why can't i fall asleep!?
At night no matter how late it is, i just toss and turn in my bed and cannot fall asleep!. I've tried listening to music, or thinking about 'sleepy things' or whatever, but it could be eleven o'clock and i find myself staring at the ceiling!. And i wake up at 6:00 AM every morning for school, so you think i would be tired at night! Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

just try not to think of anything! and make sure you dont have anything like coffee or chocolate before you go to bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you eat or drink coffe before bed!?
try openng the window a cracl using a light pillow mist, installing light blocking curtains, and drinking milk or herbal tea with honey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i can deffinently relate to you because i get up at 6 every morning too!. might i suggest you getting a softer bed!.

I have the same problem too!. Nothing I do helps me to sleep!. I have a busy mind!.I am always thinking!.I work from 8 to 6 and go to bed at 10 and get up at 6!. This is bad!. We need our sleep!.Go see your doctor and maybe he can help!.My doctor presc!. sleeping pills, but what I would give to be able to fall asleep without drugs!.!.!.!.Don't eat or drink 4 hrs!. before going to bed!. No sounds or even the smallest light in your bedroom!.Make sure you are relaxed and not upset!. NO WARM BATH OR SHOWER right before going to bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Avoid caffeine after 2 pm as the effects from caffeine can last from 5-7 hours!. This includes tea, coffee, cola drinks and chocolate!.

A glass of milk really does help to make you sleepy as it is a good source of magnesium which is needed to relax your muscles and will also improve the quality of your sleep!.

A warm (not hot) bath or shower about an hour before bedtime can also help to relax your muscles and make you sleepy!.

Don't eat any large meals after 2 hours before your bed time as your temperature will rise in the digestive process and will keep you awake!.

If you are having trouble getting to sleep, get up and do something relaxing like reading or watching tv, and only return to bed when you feel sleepy!. If you are lying there worrying about not being able to get to sleep, it will only make matters worse!.
