This is something ussually refered to as orthostatic hypotension!. You can look it up and find alot of information on it!. It's more common as you get older in age!. Basically alot of it has to do with gravity, when your sitting you are actually restricting some blood flow to your lower extremities, then once you stand up alot of blood from your head and torso quickly rush down towads your lower extremities, causing lightheadedness, blurry vision, and disorientation!. Poor circulation of your blood is another factor, but not ussually to you reach your mid 40's!. Next time your at a pharmacy check your blood pressure, on one of the automatic machines, 120/80 is the norm!. Alot lower then that could mean you should see the doc!. Positioning is another huge reason why people experience this, do you sit hunched over with your arms on your knees, try sitting straight up!. Another thing, (it seems weird but is true), are your pants to tight!? !.!.!.perhaps their is too much blood rushing to your head and your pants are restricting the flow of blood to the lower extremitied while you are sitting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
