Well, in the history of China, and in the Chinese culture, it is very polite to belch as loudly as you can after a meal at a friend's house!. In the American culture, we just tend to say thank you and it was a good meal!. I think some guys are into a loud belch as a proof of their masculine tastes!. If you do not belch often, I would not worry about it!. The next time you visit your doctor for a check up, I would ask him!.
