Did strattera work for you? How long did it take to work?!
Question: Did strattera work for you!? How long did it take to work!?
I'm only on my 4th day of taking this for adult ADD (I'm 23) and first 3 days my doc had me take just 25mg to see how I handled it, today I started taking 85mg, which I'm supposed to continue to use for the next 2 weeks!. I've read that it takes as much as several weeks to actually make a difference!. How will I be able to tell when it starts working!? So far the only side effects I've felt are slight upset stomach, sometimes "zoning out" and it makes my manhood look like I'm 4 years old again!. Anyone who has had good results (as an adult) how long did it take and how did you tell it was working!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been taking 40mg for about 2 weeks now and I have started to notice a difference already!. I'm 24 and 170 lbs (if that helps for a frame of reference)!.
I have had similar side effects since i started; nausea, light-headedness and the "manhood" issue!. I've taken other medications for adult ADHD and had similar issues though!.
I recognize the medication is working mostly because of a drop in my impulsive behavior!. I also find it easier to concentrate on one task at a time!. Did you used to find yourself rushing through tasks either because you didn't want to do them, or because you had a thousand other things you wanted to be doing!? You'll know the medication is working when you start to take your time on these same tasks and not dread them!.
I have also noticed a decrease in anxiety relating to making phone calls and going out in public!. If you suffer from these issues as well then you should notice a change in that behavior when the Straterra starts to work!.
Also in my personal experience I have found that drinking coffee when I am taking Straterra enhances the negative side effects; I would not recommend it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
