Question: What is going on with my body!?!?,I'm worried!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!!?
Visiting London from Japan since last Tuesday(15th)!. Started to feel slightly feverish from last Thursday(17th)!. Especially, I feel feverish at night and can't sleep well!.Still up and going around in the town at daytime, but feel lethargic!. Have had stiff shoulder for sometime and feel it's got worse too!.!.!.!.also feel some uncomfortableness in the armpit, back of the knee, but can't see or feel they're swollen!. What's has made me worried is since this afternoon, I feel a kind of pins-and-needles (it's not that acute and worse, but bit similar sensation) in just left side of my whole leg!. By the way, my stiff shoulder is also left side!. I lived in London for 10 years before, but still worried to get ill in the foreign country!. Could someone who's had the same symptoms before etc, please tell me ! P!.S!.!.!.I'm living with some other people(not friends) for the first time in my life and getting very stressed now!. Would you think is this symptom stress- related!? Many thanks for whom replies me !Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I think your symptoms are very stress related- especially the shoulder, I get that when I am stressed and its because my muscles tense up and I then 'pull' them far more easily and frequently!.

I also think the lack of sleep is makieng things worse because it will add to the stress you feel, increase the stress hormones in your blood and also, when you sleep, your body repairs itself, it cant do this if your not sleeping properly!. This can mean you can get odema (water retention) in your joints, achey joints, cramp, feeling irritable and feeling stressed!. Its a vicious cycle!.

You say you are in London, its hard to find a space to relax there but really try, if you are studying, try to take a day out where you dont study and spend some time alone or with some close friends or chatting to them on the phone/internet, see if you can get to a park- we have them all over London and I am sure you are aware of them and where they are!. Take a book or some music, sit and watch people, walk slowly, breathe and try to find some time to relax!.

If you are into herbal relaxation ideas, try visiting covent garden where they have afew stores which could help remedy wise!.

Also, do let the doctor you are regiested with (or find a doctor) and let them know whats up!. Unless you have a very high temperature (which you havent mentioned) what you are going through does sound like stress and exahustion, but always double check just to make sure, who knows, the doctor may be able to suggest some remedies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A fever is not generally associated with an embolism!. If you have sudden chest pain, difficulty breathing, sweating, and feelings of anxiety!. Go to the doctor, maybe you caught something there and I certainly don't want you spreading it around! Hope you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
