Question: My job is Physically streneous, will donating blood make it harder !?
Answers:
donating blood would make you weaker short term!.!.!.

in fact i'm pretty sure it's among the guidelines in the brochures not to do any strenuous activity after getting your blood drawn and if getting your blood drawn is one of those 'once in a while' things then i wouldn't recomend going to work for up to two days afterword just depending on how you feel!.

if however you want to make donating blood a monthly ritual it can make you much stronger (especially your heart) and can be quite good for you!.

it's actually one of the natural "steroids" some athletes use!. they draw a certain amount of blood once a week so that their heart gets used to working harder with less blood!. then the day before the big meet or championship game or whatever they would pump the blood back into their systems!.!.

there is a name for this but i forget what its called and it is banned now anyway!.!.!.

but lowering your blood count is lowering your cell count which lowers your body's ability to generate ATP (the cell source for energy and what allows you to exert yourself) if you donated your blood a little while before working out your body would go into what i beleive is called fermentation which is basically your body creating very small doses of lactic acid which give you energy in the short run (usually this is expelled during adrenaline rush) but if your body doesn't get rid of it fast it can be very harmful!.!.

hope that wasn't to boring :)

and i hope it helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you donate before you work, it will make you a tad weak!. Just try to go when you don't work or afterwards so you get a good nights rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
