Heartburn help me before i go mad!!!?!


Question: Heartburn help me before i go mad!!!!?
I keep getting heartburn when I wake up and after I eat any meal and drink tea!. I know eating healthy helps but when (like me) you have a budget to stick too each week for food it's difficult to afford healthy food!.
It's driving me mad becasue It's making me feel so ill!. I've tried taking heartburn medicines but they don't seem to be working!. Is there anything that I can do to help calm it down until I get chance to go to the doctor!?

There are things you can do to help!. For starters, stop drinking coffee and tea!. Carbonated things can be a problem, too!. Depending on how sensitive your gut is, you might also want to cut back on high acid beverages like orange juice!.

As far as foods, don't eat until you're stuffed, try 5 smaller meals instead of 3 big ones!. Stay away from high fat things, and that includes donuts!

After you eat have a few Tums to sort of neutralize any back-splash you might get!. Don't lay down after eating, and you might even think about putting some lifters under the head of your bed so that the top half of your body is propped up a little while you sleep as well!.

If you make some of these simple changes and still have heartburn bad enough to drive you mad, you'll need to see your Dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try Gaviscon, its the only thing that helps me when I get heartburn!. Grill food instead of frying and take your time eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put a teaspoon of baking soda in a little bit of water!. Do this every morning and/or when you get heartburn!. It really works!. Just drink it fast, it doest taste very good!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not wanting to spook you but heartburn is a symptom and potentially a deadly one!. You need to be aware of the underlying condition!. Rule out something serious!. Go to a doctor as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem! I have found that eating after a certain hour before bed causes heartburn to become more intense!.
I stop eating around 7-7:30 at night!. Sitting up a couple of hours before I lay down helps tremendously! Drink water instead of soda with your meal!. Also, don't forget to drink while you eat!. This also waters down your food in your stomach!.
The number one thing that causes heartburn in a lot of people is what the food is SEASONED with!.
Anything spicy, bitter, extremely salty, and fried give heartburn sufferers the fits all the time!.
If you have to eat things that are highly seasoned, eat them up in the daytime and NOT for your evening meal!.
One last thing, 3-4 TUMS before bedtime after doing what I've listed has cut my heartburn down 70%!.

Sounds to me like you have acid reflux and for that you will need something stronger!. Try over the counter prilosec it is used for frequent heartburn and helps with acid reflux!. If this does not work ask your doctor for something stronger there are a few good products that helps reduce acid in your stomach so you can enjoy food and drink again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

avoid any spicey or pastery foods for few days and dont eat straight before bed!.
milk of magnessium is a good settler!. I would reccommend propping urself upright on going to bed untill tour free of the heartburn to stop the acid traveling up from your stomach!. And yeh if it is bothersome you must contact you GP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I find Rennies very good - but also a full glass of milk!. Milk lines your stomach and stops the acid from coming back up!. It really works for me!. Also, sleep with your head raised as this reduces the acid reflux!. Hope this helps - heartburn is awful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

have you tried1 heartburn tablet in the morning and 1 at night and tea can make it worse so can tomatoes cheese and a lot of spice foods trie some milk at night it helps me and if you are streast or worred it makes it worse and you might try a extra pillow at night in your bed so your not liying to flat hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
