Question: How can I convince my mom to take me to the doctors!?
Hi,
I have a very painful condition called RSD, and I am SUPPOSE to see the doctor every three months!. But, my mom say's she won't take me because I never do anything the doctor tells me!. I really want to get my medicine changed, but my mom says we can do that over the phone!. I am the one who goes through pain 24/7, and that's why I see doctor!. I can't drive to the doctors b/c I am 14 years old!.

Tell her if she keeps underminding your condition and ignoring your pain,you will call the Dr yourself and tell them what she is doing with you!.
Why don't you go tell some relatives whats happening so that they tell her stuff and make her really think about how messed up she is being!.!.!.maybe someone can talk her in to taking you!.

when you do go,you should to everything the Dr says otherwise your Mom will not take you seriously again!.

Say you're sick with something else (usually as a last resort)
Ask your dad
Say you're out of medication
Hire a lawyer (maybe not a real lawyer, but someone who's REALLY good at arguing with people that you can easily convince to help)
Call the doctor yourself and see if you can get help

If I were in your shoes I would talk to your school nurse and explain to her your situation and maybe she can talk to your mom about it!. Or you can check to see if your community offers free rides to the doctors office!. My community does!. Or you can call your doctor up yourself and talk to him about how you are feeling and he can call in a prescription for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Personally I would just call the doctors office myself and make an appointment then about 2 days before the appointment tell your mom oh yeah I made a doctors appointment for whatever time and day the appointment is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
