Your freind may have shocked her system or she was'nt getting the protein she needs that could be why she got sick, maybe her Iron was low also, make sure you get protein from other foods such as a variety of nuts, legumes such as barley, lentils, beans, eat eggs and peanut butter dont over do it with the nuts, eggs and peanut butter, they have alot of cholesterol and fat, so small amounts!. Also add an extra serving of the leafy greens Spinach, Broccoli, Asparagus and Kale those will give you Iron!. Try it for 3 days if you start to feel sick stop!. Best Wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you don't get sick b/c of being a vegetarian!. you will likely be healthier than the majority of people because you will have less risk for disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and so much more! there are a lot of benefits!Www@Answer-Health@Com

To stay healthy, you have to pay close attention to what you eat, especially protein!. Your friend probably didn't account for the loss of protein in her diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your friend was probably anemic
which is caused to low counts of iron in the body
and lack of protein in the diet!.

I suggest taking iron supplements once a day,
and eating lots of foods with proteins!.
If you're lacto-ovo then you can eat eggs and drink milk,
which both contain large amounts of protein!.
Also try: peaut butter, nuts, peas, and other legumes!.

Before you go vegetarian though, do some research!.
Like vegetarians can't eat skittles because they have gelatin, and some gums have a gum base made from hooves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
