Is there any significance to seeing mucus on the eye?!
Question: Is there any significance to seeing mucus on the eye!?
This morning I could actually see the mucus, like a little glob of it, ON the eye moving around!. It eventually settled into the corner and was then like normal morning eye goo!. I've never seen that before, is that just normal and I've never noticed!? I suppose obviously the mucus has to start somewhereWww@Answer-Health@Com

That's normal!. Most likely it's a mucous strand!.!.!.usually related to allergies or mild infection/irritation!. You can try a sterile saline rinse to flush it out and if that doesn't work, see an eye doctor so they can look at you with their microscope and remove the offending agent!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It can be normal!. Your eye goos up to to protect the eye from hair or dirt that may have landed on your eye!. Unless you eye starts to seriously burn, crust up and turn red, it may be bacteria!. If you see it, a quick wash will help rid the eye of any other particles that may have entered!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
