Why does it take longer for some people to give blood than others?!

Question: Why does it take longer for some people to give blood than others!?
i am just curious!. I gave blood today and it only took like 3-4 minutes!. Some of the other people were there for 8-10 minutes!. Also, how long will it take for me to recover my red blood cells!? How much will it affect me for a 5 k run tomorrow (if it does at all)!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
OH good luck on that run you just gave away your ability to hydrate and airate your body effectivly!. if you have a good heart (which im assuming you do being a runner) and you donated while you were very hydrated its normal to give blood fast, most people are not hydrated and have bad hearts so it takes longer to pump less blood!.!. it should take a couple weeks to replace your red blood cellsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some people have thinner veins or veins that are crooked, this slows the flow!. Also if you are not fully hydrated the blood flow will be slower

You should have already recovered & should win the 5 k tomorrow:-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
