Red Urine?!?!

Question: Red Urine!?!!?
Strangely, my urine turned out to be red tonight!. I didn't eat anything weird/out of the ordinary except a lot of chocolate today!. (I would say around 100 of those small ones)!. Could eating too much chocolate (M&Ms) cause your urine to be red!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I've had that before as well!. I was sick at the time but the doctors couldn't find a reason for it!.

I was on the same med's I'd been on before that and I'd only ever had yellowish!. Which is the coulour it's meant to be!. (technically meant to be clear but that's only if you are really well hydrated)

I've had chocolate and in particulat m&ms and it hasn't happened again!. Maybe it's just something that happens sometimes!.

The only other suggestion I can come up with is that there was blood mixed in with it!. Possibly from an injury to that area, internal bleeding or if you're a woman you're period!.

All these things would have shown evidence of blood before hand though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Certain medications can turn it orange or red!. If you aren't taking any sort of meds then I would think something is wrong!. Have you recently had blunt trauma to your genitals!? That would mean the red is from blood!. Other than that, I can't think of any reason you would have red urine!. See a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't think what you eat will make your urine turn red !. I've had orange urine !. testing was done at my family doctors office !. a kidney infection turned out to be the reason !. i think you should have it checked out by your doctor !. Good luck !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you taking vitamins or supplements!? iron pills or vitamins or supp!. with iron in it will turn you urine a dark orange or red and give it a fouls odorWww@Answer-Health@Com

Have you ever had kidney stones!? They could make your urine red from blood!. Or, another drug called Pyrimidine can cause your urine to turn red, pink, orange!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
