I can't take most of those DM formulas - it's supposed to be very benign, but the ingredients in them - that dextromethorphan or what ever it is, makes me so sick - it makes me drowsy and so out of it, I can't drive for more than a day!.
I think it just depends on how your body reacts to different chemicals!.
Take the claritin regular, and ask for Sudafed at the pharmacy counter, then just use it when you are congested!.
Or better yet, try the new over the counter Zyrtec - I love zyrtec, and use the sudafed as needed!Www@Answer-Health@Com
