Such things usually have specific causes and there's usually a solution!. If it's caused by the formation or shape of your teeth, a straightening or reshaping of the teeth could help!. Some people are born with a hole in the roof of their mouths and it causes such problems!. I think it's worth investigating and receiving estimates on the cost and inconvenience involved!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, i was in speech therapy for years for "s" and "r", and i speak perfectly clearly now, of course for me it took so much longer cause i have an accent and living in america makes it harder!. go to a health department and talk to them and they will recommend a speech therapist, and if you can claim that having a lisp causes emotional turmoil then your insurance may pay for your classes!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I did drama at college, my teacher tried to help me get rid of mine by saying 'top of the teeth, tip of the tongue'!. It does work and becomes more of a habit speaking in that way than your actual lisp!. It takes a few years of practice but mine isn't half as bad as it used to be!. Good luck and I hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
